Russ J. Rampton is currently an Instructor of Communication at Weber State University where he teaches courses in Public Speaking and Interpersonal and Small Group Communication. He has a Bachelor’s degree in communication-teaching from Weber State University and Master’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has worked in educational settings as a GED instructor, coordinator for student organizations, and coordinator for distance education programs. Following in the footsteps of pre-school teachers, Russ continues to teach people to “use their words” and become competent communicators to be more effective in advocating for themselves and others, as well as enhancing their personal relationships and effectiveness in small groups.
Most importantly, Russ is a husband and father to a three year old boy who was born premature.
