The goal of this class is to teach fathering skills – especially to first time fathers – from a male perspective.

Just For Dads Class
What is the father’s role during the birthing process?
What are his rights, responsibilities, and what is it that only he can do to make the experience as good as it can be for both mother and baby?
Far more than just training a “birthing coach” the class is designed to empower fathers to advocate for their families.
It is also designed to help fathers transition into their role as head of household. Now that your family is more than just you and your wife, what does that mean for paternity leave, insurance, issues, taxes, and other issues?
Finally, how does a new father bond with his child? How can bathing, diapering, and supporting breastfeeding bring the new dad closer to his baby, and how does he now balance the role of husband AND father along with all of his other duties?
This three hour class is held monthly at Mothering Your Way and is taught by Russ Rampton, a professor and happy father.
The cost is $35
